We totally jacked it lol! There are many more people here that understand the hard work put into affording these cars than not. You've got a lot of support and encouragement in that respect! I don't even know you, and I'm so proud! =)

again, thanks so much for the encouragement, that is why im on this website 24/7. there are such good people in here that all come together to help eachother out with anything they need. you cant really find that anywhere which is nice because we can all link up together and discuss issues and stuff. Thanks so much for everything!

Although I will say if his parents can afford to buy him a 40k car im sure hes set for life anyway he looks at it. I think buying a car with your own hard earned cash makes it last longer and makes you take care and enjoy it way longer. |

Nah, I bought all but my first car with my own money, and It doesn't make you want to keep them any more. I would have much rather had someone give me all the cars I've owned. I would have a lot more money in the bank.

Nice car!
Congratulations on your Camaro!
This is what I drove in high school (didn't get it for graduation, it was my grandfather's car...but I had a set of keys!) |

Congrats!
I’m 19 and working a part time job, attend college and all I make goes toward the car payment/maintenance and school...but it’s the feeling I get when I pay the car payment each month that makes me appreciate the car even more...

It's been more than a few years since I graduated high school, but when I get in the Camaro it's like I'm 18 all over again.
Make some great memories in that car of yours, kid, and be safe doing it. |

Good for you................kid.
If you think this is bad I grew up in a small suburb of L.A. where kids got brand new Range Rovers, Porsches, Bimmers, Benzes....you name it...did any of them appreciate it? Can't think of one that did, but hey I'm sure there are some that do. So for all the hard work, it is what it is. He's 17 and got a brand new Camaro SS. For me as well as many others I do believe our cars will mean quite a bit more having had to literally earn them. Here's to them, and to us.
