Performance Clutch?

Ive never installed a clutch.
How hard is it to install a clutch like the Fidanza 7.6 Are there any special tools needed to do it? Is it pretty much just unbolt everything and install in reverse? I want a new clutch but everything Im going to put on the car I want to do it Myself. Im pretty mechanically inclined and have access to a lift.

If it's similar to the GTO (which I would guess it would be) you shouldn't have a problem if you can even remotely turn a wrench. My GTO was my first clutch job and it was pretty simple.

Just remember to use loctite on the flywheel and pressure plate bolts.

The Camaro clutch install is pretty straight forward... it is not a pita like a C6 Vette haha... The Fidanza kits are easy enough and come balanced with clear marks to line up the pressure plate with the flywheel, torque to spec each bolt, don't rush through and your good to go

Im glad I found this thread. Im installing the Fidanza 7.6 this weekend!!! Does anybody know what the torque specs are on the flywheel to crank. And also the torque specs on the bellhousing.

The tq is the same as stock on the flywheel and bellhousing,im sorry i dont have the number,use medium thread locker for all the bolts,preasure plate 25 ftlbs!!!! medium threadlocker...Let us know how you like it!

Monster Clutch Co. just installed a new clutch into a Camaro Monday.
I'm sure they will have the 2010 Camaro clutches out any day
