First of all, thanks for getting this posted!! This is excellent info. Now I just wish we had some definite pricing.

Couple of questions though.......
1. What is the "Convience & Connections" option? Is this the Bluetooth and USB port? I hope so, because I may want the entire the SS2/RS Package. ***EDIT the poster above me just answered this question. THANKS!!!***

2. What is the difference between the Midnight Silver finish and the Polished Finish?

3. I know that the HUD will be offered later. But if I order early can I have this installed at a later date at a dealership (and about how much would that run potentially)??

If the estimates are correct on the SS2/RS being around 33K, I am really, really, really, really, excited because I thought the high-end model was going to be closer to 40K!

Thanks in advance. I've been reading these forums for the past year or so, but I just started posting here recently. You guys are awesome!!

I'm not sure if this info was given past page two, but Sirius and XM have merged into one company...Sirius/XM.....I know that today the folks with XM were supposed to be able to pick up Sirius...Howard Stern, etc. So when we purchase the car with XM, we should be able to get the programming from both!

This is awesome! Even though I'm not happy with the wheels on the LS, it's a lot of car for the money. It looks like I'll be getting a black or grey 1LT.

The other advantage of a few fixed packages like this is that it makes it easier to negotiate prices between dealers... they all have the same packages, just pick your color.

Thanks Max!!!! Glad to see HUD will be optional on the LT trim as well. Looks like worst case scenario is.... if can't afford the SS I want, I can still get an LT with ALL of the options I want. Optioning like that is going to be key reason Camaro is going to whoop Mustang and Challenger in sales. If the pricing truely is within 1K or 2K of a similarly optioned Mustang.........that 40 year streak is coming to an end FAST.

I hope its not only packages but some options can be ordered on lower trims. i want, or should i say can only afford, a 1SS but i want the orange interior package, but my guess is that won't be able to happen due to the 1SS not having leather and the package includes orange leather. doesn't look like leather will even be a 1SS option so guess im screwed

Will the manual trans be standard, or will it be the $1000 dollar option like the Challenger?
