CP is Canadian Pacific. If you are from Miami, chances are your car will interchange to CSX once it crosses into the US.

OK ... has anyone run into this before ... ???

I've been tracking my car ... originally with CSX and now to Union Pacific ...
Originally it said it was due into Mira Loma, CA railyard on 2/8 at 4:40am ...

I haven't checked for a few days, so for grins I called again today ... now it says "loaded" and the rest I can't make out! It sounds like it's saying "construction plate" (which makes no sense at all), and then it says "Feb.4th, 9:01am" ...
Has anyone gotten this message and been able to decipher it?

At first I got excited, thinking it got in early! But I'm kinda doubting traveling by rail that 4 days early seems like a big stretch ....
Anybody speak "railroad" on here?

Thanks!

Hey Cajun2010

Our cars are on the CN at Yard Central, Illinois. ETA to Industry is Feb 10. I assume that's the final rail destination. Sounds about right.

Industry is the just the railroad terminology for the auto unloading facility.

Thanks for the information. I'm still at CP. I'm wondering how long is the average stay in CP before the trip down south?

2 - 4 days to get from Oshawa to Detroit. Trains average about 100-150 miles per day.
