So I guess what Im asking is how child seat friendly is the Camaros back seat in they event Id need to put the little one back there??? Has anyone done it? Good? Bad? Impossible?

Thanks Mike
The back seat is worthless other than helping keep insurance down. Since it is still considered a four seater.

What are you talking about? How is it worthless? Back seat is fine for the baby seat as all of the previous posters have said and young children fit just fine. Even adults can fit back there for short trips. In addition, it can be used to store things that don't fit in the trunk. Try and do these things in a two seater.

Very interested. I have one in a booster, and the other will be in one in about a year or so. The baby seat and booster in the backseat are kind of unsightly when the kids aren't in them. I'm sure yours would look much better.

As I stated it is useless to me, if it doesn't fit in the trunk the I don't need to be hauling it. I"m only talking about me no one else. You might be able to fit a kid back there. I would not know. I've never had kids.

You did not state that it is useless to you, that's why I made the comment.

The biggest problem I see with this is taking the infant seat/carrier in and out. Not alot of clearance between backseat and frontseat to remove the carrier part of the infant seat. However, I wouldn't let that stop me from buying one.

Don't forget to put down a folded towel under the car seat or it might scatch up your upholstery. That's what I do in my Avalanche. If the child seat uses belts, just make sure you cinch it down tight with the towel underneath. For forward facing seats, I make sure the towel hangs down lower than the seat bottom so their feet don't scuff. The red in the pic represents a towel.

I can wait to show my wife this thread. She’s been batching me from the first day I ordered my Camaro. Yap, yap, yap about how I’m the only knuckle head to buy a sports car before my baby son’s arrival and how ridiculous it looks on the Camaro.

My 6 year old rides on the back behind the passenger seat all the time...she knows better than to purposefully put her feet on the seats, but stuff happens.
I got a cheapy seat back protector at Autozone for like $3...just a piece of clear viynl with a cutout at top that goes around the headrest posts and 2 elastic straps on the bottom. When it is installed you can't really even see it from anywhere but the back seat and it saves the back of the seats from scuffs.

They make several different kinds...

Just ordered my Camaro. I have a 4yo,2yo, and 9month. My husband asked me if all three kids seats will fit. I told him that there was a trunk for him.
