OK guys and gals... for the fog light mod... this is what I am doing. I am combining the diode method and the jumper method.

Basically I am going to buy a new male and female plug that is used like the jumper. I am going to make my own jumper like has been posted on here EXCEPT I am going to add a switch to it so you can have control over your fog lights from inside the car and it will be "plug and play". No need to cut the factory wires. It should be pretty easy to build. I will keep everyone updated. If it works well, I can make them for others and it will be a simple plug in and we can run the swich to wherever you wnat. I am going to hide mine under the dash as I will never use it. All you will need to do is supply the parts or give me the money for them. Give me a few days...

Oh, I will need some LED fog lamp bulbs... anyone have any extras? We can barter...

I am looking into the factory switch with the foglight button in the middle. I had a truck once that I added fog lights to and I bought a factory switch and wired it up. Does the haus know if this is possible? Either way I want in on this action.

In that case I think I will just try the toggle swich. Didn't know it was that involved. On the truck I did it was just buy a conector off GM and run some wires. I figured you would know the answer.

Thats what I got, a toggle switch. If you want, when I get the plugs, if you want to come over when I build the jumper, feel free. We can try it on my car first... I am going to try to order the plugs today.

I firgued it would be simple with the GM switch but i guess not. Kinda sucks, that would be cool but I am not breaking into my ECU.

I have the wires from ACC Style, but I really don't want the DRLs on all the time. I'd just like to be able to turn them on at night with a switch if I want the additional light.

Is this what you're talking about doing, jr?
Yes and I will have it done today. They will function as designed but also be wired to come on with the parking lamps (halos) and have a secondary switch inside the car (hidden) so if I want just the halos, I can. I will have total control over them but they will still also function as designed. When I turn on the car, they will come on unless I turn them off (one click CCW on the factory switch) or turn on the halos (one click CW on the factory switch). I have to run to the bacnk but should have it done soon. I already built the wiring jumper. All I have to do it splice it in. Stay tuned for pics....

EDIT... well I am done. It came out really well. I assume the DRLs will come on when I start the car. I didnt start it so I cant say for 100% but i can't see why they wouldnt. The switch works cool and now I can turn them on and off at will and run them with the halos. Now to get the LED bulbs... where do i get them? what do I get?

A little pricey... plus i think I like the "yellowish" Looks a tad european and they look ok for fogs to be a yellow cast. Not that the white doesnt look amazing but I may rock the OE style for a while. I am uploading pics now...

wow my camera SUCKS! Here are the best ones.

This is just the Halos and fogs. The HIDs are not on but look like it from the piss poor camera.

I don't remember if this is just Halos or if the HIDs are on?? I just thought it was cool I got my breath in the photo.

This is both, how it will look coming at you...

Like I said, I like the yellow cast, for now.

Anybody want any old car magazines? I hate to thrown them away and don't want to mess with try to sell them.

I've got 5 copier paper boxes full of:
- Autoweek 6/29/92 to 7/28/03
- Motortrend 7/2001 to 6/2003
- Automobile 8/1992 to 12/1998

Hello, I am done with my deployment and back with my family, and have only got to drive my new ride once. It was one great ride, just too short.
Looking forward to learning about all the fun stuff, and meeting y'all.
