I bought an auto for the first time in several years. Since the Camaro was replacing my other car as my daily, I finally opted for something I could live with in bumper to bumper traffic.

I used to have the attitude of "Oh, I can handle bumper to bumper in a stick" mentality, or, "Heck, no one buys a sports car/ muscle car in an auto box", but 20 years of driving stick in traffic has changed my tune. The nice thing is that no matter which model you end up with, you have the choice in what works for YOU and not because of ego or pride. Test drive both and find out which one you feel like you can work with.

Bought the manual because all my personal cars have been auto thus far....and I hate it! I'm sure the modern autos are much better than they used to be, but I've always wanted a manual. Been driving stick since I was 12 helping dad move equipment around on the farm.

i know, but when someone asks how much hp it has, it sounds better to say 426 instead of 400! and i love to go through the gears!

Sports cars should always be manual. Manual is a lot more fun. My wife and I can both drive manual and mosts of all it was $1,700.00 cheaper.

I bought a manual. Why, cause it's just fun to drive.

Absolutely, a couple months back when I rented a 1LT auto I fell in love with the car and I know that I'd be completely happy with an auto or manual. A Camaro is a Camaro either way and I like Camaro's .

Auto because manual is tedious and I don't like it.
