FastScout got him some Toyos for the Winter. I think some are having traction problems up here. I just jump into the Toyota. Leave the Beast in the garage.

I don't have my 2SS yet, but hope to have it either this weekend, or by the weekend after.
I've been looking at the Yokohama Parada SpecX tires. http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/fin...16070&sw=false I'm trying to decide if I'll buy new wheels as well, and narrow the wheels/tires down a little which would help in slush/snow as well. |

I was having a lot of traction issues last month. This month is much warmer, and better control. I kept mine in the garage and used the Toyo as well. But I have been thinking about getting some Blizzak's as well.

I've decided not to get Winter Tires for this season. Since I still have my Impala for snow/slush/heavy rain driving, I'll be ok. I've been driving my car pretty much exclusively since the freezing temperatures in early December, and it's handled quite well in all the conditions we've had so far. The only problem I had was in the freezing temperatures, it would take a minute or two to drive out the flatspots in the cold tires.

I went with Blizzak's the stock tires just didn't have the traction I needed. With the Blizzak's, no problems.
