Ok, so that's sort of not true, as my dealership already told me when my TPW is, but I still want to see it on the tracking website....this is going to be a long 7 weeks.

Nice! Have you ever heard of RME (Rocky Mountain EcoTech)? We just picked ours up in October and I love it! We're building it to run NASA TT this year. We've already done Pedders coil overs, OTTP Rear Sway, Rotated trans mounts, Injen Hot Side charge pipe, Steering rack spacers, and we're waiting on K&N for the short ram Intake. I also have a 3" catted downpipe but it was a bit too short. I plan on getting it tuned soon as well. We'll have to hook up sometime!!!

So tonight at Market Street in South Jordan My Wife and I come out and look what was in the parking lot!! A Hendrick Motorsports Camaro SS. I didn't have any Camaro 5 cards to leave!!! It was georgous!! Sorry for the craptastic pics, all I had was my iPhone and I even had to adjust the contrast on them to make them viewable.

Also on our way home. I wasn't racing honestly, but I had to go to the bathroom really bad so I tried to go from the light on Bangerter at 104th South to the light on 118th South as fast as I could and there happen to be a Nissan GT-R next to me. Let's just say, he got to the next light a lot faster than I did. He must have had to go potty more than me!!!

The Hendrick Camaro's are VERY NICE!!!! I saw one at SEMA and they really did a nice job!!!!

Those GTR's are bad machines!!!! Nothing a little boost couldn't overcome!!!!

hey guys! anyone know of a good tint place to get my windows tinted? also i would like to go dark all the way around and i know most places wont do it cuz its illegal. any ideas?

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I'm happy to report my daily driving all winter has not led to any harm to Xena, and I am vigorously knocking on wood as I type this to ensure it stays that way. Question: Where are some excellent auto shops that do fantabulous custom paint jobs? Lightning suggested Rusty's Auto in Sunset, and I am interested to know any others people would suggest. I am looking to do something crazy cool, which would require a lot of talent, so I need to be sure they're good; but would obviously like to keep the price reasonable as well. I saw a "custom" paint job yesterday that looked like I could have done it. (and that is not a compliment)

Better have someone in your pocket to do your inspection, it won't pass with illegal tint unless they're not really doing the inspection.

I'll be going to ProTint to get my tint done...20% on the backs, 43% on the fronts. Don't know whether they'll do dark all the way around, I sort of have to follow the rules with my job

bokoo - I've had all my other cars done at Pro-Tint. They're good. But I don't know if they'll help you break the law

Re: custom paint jobs I would just call around and ask to see portfolios and then go check out there work.

I know GraphicEvolutions is awesome at custom designs so might look him up and ask who he uses for his paint. He did my stripes and does all the Miller Sports track cars and many other jobs in the valley.

Damn! That's a hella crazy list of mods you've got there! I'm keepin my motor stock for now....maybe gmpp kit later, maybe. All my mods are apperance so far (blacked out everything within reason.)But cheah I'm down for a meet some time for sure!

I know South Town Collision has done a few custom cars I've seen around including a wicked Cobalt SS. He did ghost "SS" in the paint where the emblems were and it looks sick!!! The car is down at his shop. The owners name is Nick and their # is 801-748-2596. I know they give discounts to RME forum members but I'm sure you could talk him into something since you're on C5!!!!!

Thanks man! It's a lot of work but I can't wait to get it on Miller in March!!! I'm not sure if GMPP is ever going to do anything for the SS/TC... Nice, I'd love to check it out sometime!!! The weather is starting to get better!!!! Come on Spring! Once it warms up we should meet up sometime.

ProTint for me too. They will likely do dark tints, BUT they will also tell you about all the tints they REMOVE due to citations. I struggled with this too. I decided not to chance it. Plus I didn't know any stoner skate board kids that worked at a state inspection place... to help it "pass."

Is an auto-body place that I have checked out. Dave Kindig took all the time in the world to talk to me. SUPER nice, really cool shop. Kind of makes you want to go crazy with all the ideas.
