If anyone has any input for the next Wichita Camaro meet... let me know.

I am hoping for March 20th (tentatively) & to try and have like a dyno day of the sorts.
Still working out the bugs of it but trying
If no go on the Dyno deal then it'll just be At the Old Chicago (east side) just off rock rd / Kellogg

PS, I'd love for an assistant / helper / whatever to help make this all happen again

Random thought .... I'd love to have regular meets. I've been nothing a lot of people have a meet each month but I don't know if that would be over kill so I was thinking this......

Would this be considered over kill by chance? lol
Camaro Meet every 2 months, on the 3rd Saturday of that month..? Thus being:
March 20th,
May 15th,
July 17th,
September 18th,
November 20th (being the last one)

Or maybe every 3rd month, 3rd Saturday... ? Too much? Not enough?
March 20th,
June 19th,
September 18th, (being the last one)

I'd try my best to make each meet worth while and fun for all that attend, and hopefully prizes to be had for coming!
Input from any Wichita or locals to Wichita would be highly appreciated and welcomed!

I think that would be a great idea, especially for those who can't make the "only one" we may end up having for what ever reason. Then, we can move it all around, and possibly gather more "members" if we are out and about in a large group more often. Then maybe I'll get my waves!! <smirk>

I think there should be more frequent informal meetings, and maybe a bigger, less frequent, formal meeting. Bi-monthly full group thing, and maybe an evening drink, poker game, dinner, whatever every few weeks for whoever feels like going.

Every other month sounds good to us! Just let us know when and where. And we can help get things set up any time after May. Until then we're super busy with chemo and radiation and all that.

We were on 96 on our way to Maize yesterday around 5:30-5:45 and we seen an IOM coming up quick behind us. We figured maybe it was someone from here catching up to wave.... Nope. They ZOOMED past us (with another car on their tail), weaved in and out of cars RIGHT before the next exit, and then took that exit, barely making it. I can appreciate a good driver, and a fast car, but I looked at my husband and said "wow. That person is seriously a jackass." They had a dealers tag on the dang car!! And they were driving like that?! I was slightly annoyed.....
And so far thats the only camaro we've seen out since we picked our's up on Tuesday. But, we'll wave if we see any of you out and about!

I'm in Junction City, but I am constantly going on cruises, actually drove down HWY 77 Saturday to HWY 50, then went up I-135 back towards Salina, I make this trip all the time, just can't stop driving this wonderful machine. Keep me posted on your meetings, and I will try to make any that I can.

Deb, I know how you feel, I pass Camaro's all the time here in JC and in Manhattan, and none seem to wave back or even look. Oh well, I still wave, give the thumbs up, honk, whatever I can, even flash the fog lights and if they notice, cool, if not, guess they can only appreciate their own car.

Ject when you took yours in to have it tuned the second time, i am guessing without any mods done to it, was it to just get what you could out of a better tune then factory?

Performance wise there is always room for improvement over Factory tune. (heck or even efficiency wise) Factory tune is done specifically to increase MPG, meet regulations and EPA standard.

My original tune was to get something better over Factory (when I had no modifications done)
2nd time was to increase the performance even more after the modifications I had added.

Hope this helps a little

Yeah it does. Now the next question how much was it for the tune and where did you go?

Give me your keys, I'll make sure Cami makes it!
