That's the logical assumption you'd think. Those of us with any type of Blue or White camaro have to order them in a different color (suggested black) and have them painted. It has been suggested that instead of having the entire guard painted, just paint the outside part (part that wont get any rocks/crap thrown against it) to match your car as the inside being black will look like the wheel well.

that Bra is going to make more damage than anything else, the snow and salt will get under there and it will create havok on the paint, I messed up my last camaro with one of those things, never again

I can verify that, I had a similar experience with my Z28, the paint was damaged from trapped grit between the Bra and the cars finish.

I installed mine without taking the wheels off. Turn the front wheel as far as possible to expose the area. On the back, use a short torx bit with a wrench or locking pliers to get the factory screws out. I also used a sidewinder drill to put the screws in underneath without jacking the car up. It took about 45 minutes, taking my time to ensure no screwups.

I have had mine from day one. Not sure of damage underneath, but I do not plan on taking them off. It has saved so much aggrevation from debris hitting the car.

I got 'em

I put them on...doesn't look all that bad unless you focus/stare at 'em...look at the bright side, I was going to do the trucker style Yosemite Sam "Back Off!" flaps like I had on my '67 3/4T pickup.
