Tint strip on front windshield?

Has anyone put a strip of tint at the top of the windshield? If so do you recommend doing it?

I think sunglasses are better. Looks cooler anyways .

I saw some people mention they had done it. I want to say there is a limit on how far down it can go but not necessarily one on how dark. I'm not too sure about that though

Flows ok if it is done right. Like I said, I like my "monobrow"....helps with the drive time glare I'm always facing.

Tint strip on front windshield?

I have it and Love it !! I highly recommend it. WE enjoy approximately 2/3 of the year with sunny days in the Houston area. My 2SS is a daily driver and the functionality can't be beat. It looks good to boot.

First off, you can't really see the windshield tint in your album. Second, you should have got some pics of your Camaro on the Great Wall of China! That's a road trip!

I'm going to have the dealship tint my car and I asked about the strip. He said some have done it but not many.

I saw it on a pic of a Camaro and thought that it might help with the sun because I hear that the sun visors are pretty much useless. It might be one of those things I add on later.

Yeah, exactly why I did it, the visors are useless and at my commute times I always catch the glare! This is my daily driver.

That would've been great but my Great Wall trip was in 2008, didnt get the car until 2009, so...but I was talking about getting the Camaro on that trip with some of my friends!

I have it on my car. . the tint dude asked me where I would like it... Laid some out and said that is "normal". It was way to far down on the windshield ... I had him bring it up to the "legal" limit. THere's a line on the front window... I love mine and recommend it highly.

Hmmm....I'm kinda like it. Dealer's tinter wants $40 just for the strip. Anyone think that's a reasonable rate?

Try Texas Best Tint in mesquite. He charged me $20 for the brow and did an amazing job. I'll post pics when I get home.

I paid $85 for the sides and rear and $15 for the monobrow...so, yes $40 for the monobrow is steep IMO.
