Heh, I thought about that too. No way to really know...and anything's possible on the internet.

Heck, check out the run I just had during lunch!

That's the fastest 'STOCK' Camaro time ever.

Know how I can tell it's not true? Cause it says Sat. night on it. lmao

Just stay on your Stock soapbox .. 0-60=A6 and 1/4 mile=M6 ..by a tenth and better make sure your shifting lightning fast and don't miss a shift.
OH DEAR GOD

they are close, the auto will get out quicker and the more HP of the stick will take over in the end on a 1/4 run. That's stock, once you start modding then it's just how much you want to spend. Honestly how often do you run the 1/4 mile ? And if you run the 1/4 all the time do you plan to keep it 100% stock ? If you are really into 1/4 drag racing I would think you are also into modding the car so it's a matter of how much $$ you want to spend.

The auto is more convenient, the stick lets you row through the gears. On a non 1/4 mile street experience the auto will probably get you to 60 quicker but driver skill here is important for both auto and stick, launching the auto is not a piece of cake either because it spins the tires so easily in first gear (even stock). My L99 auto gets to 60 MPH in 3.8 seconds and driving around town it's not easy to find a place to do this.

Make your decision on which type of tranny you want, don't worry about which is faster in a 1/4 track because they are close and so much of that will be driver and mod $$.
