I'm number 2 on a well know list and I will be ordering on the 13th a

damn I may bump up to the SS got to decide soon

I have a deposit down (#2 in line) and am taking off 13 Oct to order:

RS/2SS
IOM
Black rally stripes
Black upgraded wheels
Color matched interior
Auto (wife's car)
Cat back
Blade spoiler
Ground effects/diffuser
etc.

Waiting for later to get mine....Z28???

im going in to my dealer on the 13th and ordering a black rs/ss2 manual hardtop. polished wheels instead of the midnight silver. all the goodies.

id wait for a z28 but i can make a faster one by adding my own blower.

I went to my dealer yesterday to ask if they are getting an idl on it soon they said no, i asked if they had any details they said no, they said that only about 2 cars would make some dealers and that there are no factory ordes, just a 5k deposit to reserve yours. The most disapointing day of my life, i have to ask Scott if this is true, i want to be able to sold order, thats why i was soo excited for this month. They said that everything is different because we ll have the market equivilant to L.A alone, it made sense,

Well, I'm actually going to wait till spring of '09 to make my final decision on ordering.

1st... I want to at least see one in person... 2nd... I want to know what it will cost me to do so.

Was thinking of a heavily optioned LT2 / RS in Aqua Blue w/ Single White Stripe on hood and Hockey stripes on side, but am now thinking or going the SS2 / RS in Imperial Blue w/ same striping package as above, but in Silver instead. If silver not available, I have a friend locally that would be able to do so for probably under $500 Canadian.

Still waiting for HUD and Rear Assist Parking !

Just sold my car, I will be going to place my order on October 13th!

That is if i can change my options before the car is built after the pricing is announced.

Yeah I really hope they let us do this, I want a 2LT but my limit is 29k (before ttl and stuff). Hopefully it will be well under that number, but from what I have been reading on the forums it is probably going to be close...

Try another dealer.

Im gonna go to my local dealers first. Bentley chevrolet and Cadillac, we bought our truck from them, so im confident they will work with me.

If they are dumb, i will go to Huntsville, then Nashville. If all else fails i will be talking to Camaro Scotty.

I too will be waiting for the vert. Already having weird dreams about ordering and recieving my car, then realizing I was supposed to wait.

The wait will be even more painful when the first few start hitting the streets, but I will stick to my guns this time
