So, the question begs to be asked... what does the price tag say?

Hello Kalenn,

There isn't a window sticker on it yet. The car has to go through P.D.I. then it will have a price attached. I think that the Callaway sticker said 15K or 16K for basic Callaway package. The car I think started as a 1-SS. We are waiting for the headrest from Callaway before putting the car on display. I was a little disappointed that they didn't order the car with the Callaway wheels and ground effects. It doesn't have the clear hood scoop either, but I'm not too keen on that Callaway feature anyway. I believe they ordered it this way so as to keep the price down and giving a customer the chance to personalize this car to there liking. I.E. a sleeper or stealthy Camaro or an in your face bad a$$ Callaway by adding striping and ground effects of your choice.

I promise to take a bunch of pictures once the car is ready. I will probably take photos of this car with the Transformer Camaro we also have.

Sorry to be so long winded.

Allen

One more thought - I was thinking it would be neat to catalog each Camaro that is sold from this dealership ---

  1. Take some photograph car details
  2. Record Vin #
  3. Arrival at dealership
  4. Date of sale
  5. Owners name (First name only)
  6. Region it will reside in (City & State only)
Too bad I didn't start it already as we have sold at least 15 Camaro's, I think.

Randy said we have 17 more that should be here any day now.

You may be right, I will find out Monday for sure. I didn't realize the emblem color designated this.

Thanks

White SS emblems simply mean it's an SS. The red SS emblems denote the car is an RS equipped vehicle.

Chris, so you can order the Callaway package with separate items you don't need to order the whole package? And what items do you need to make it a Callaway?

thanks

Hi Chris,
I'm looking forward to seeing the next one with the whole meal deal I hope we do a red one next time.

By the way, Randy and I took two Camaro's out for pictures today. The Callaway Randy drove and I drove the Transformer Camaro. First time I had an opportunity to drive one of the new Camaro's. I love the feel of the car, firm handling, but not harsh. I would like to drive the Callaway and see how it feels also. Maybe another time...

I spent some time working with the pictures and resizing them down to 800 X 600 and have a few small video clips I shot of the Callaway to still work with. When I have them put together as one slide show video, I will post them here. It won't be this evening though, maybe tomorrow night.

Here is a picture of the Callaway in motion from a video clip I took. And another one of the two cars parked together.

Smile Here is the video I promised

Here is the video I promised it really looked better before uploading it to Youtube. I started the video out with photos then it goes into the video. My camera is not really a video camera, but it does OK, especially once I figured out the default setting for taking video was set at the lowest resolution and I fixed it for the walk around. Randy was kind enough to narrate the video for me.

Contact Randy Eyerly if you have any questions on the Callaway cars.

Enjoy
