I will need very detailed instructions on where and how this plugs in. I would love to get this if it's easy to install.

it plugs in on the right side behind the bumper. You need to either go under the car or remove the wheel and inner fender.

Does this jumper prevent backfeed to the PCM?

Personally I think the yellowish DRL lights on at the same time as the RS white lights will look wrong. Theres a reason GM chose to do it the way they did, anyhow with the high intensaty RS lights there should no need for fogs. Let me know how it turns ot post some pics.

I tested this harness, its easy to install. I ordered the LED lights for the DRL so it should look just fine.

I was just going to inquire about running a switch off that harness, should be pretty simple. Find which is the power and wire in a switch . The hardest part would be running the wire into the cabin.

The harness is so easy to put on, you could easy take it off if you want. I believe it also has a diod built in for feedback issues. I have used it for a week now, no issues.

Agree, but not sure I want to wait that long. If the hot wire to the DLRs can be intercepted, just running an intercept kill switch using a nice led light with your choice of light color could blend with interior nicely. Switches are $5 or under and could be wired "normally open" in off position, and "normally closed" in on position w/LED iluminating or vice-versa with LED illumination when lighting "killed". A second matching switch could control footwell lighting tied in with the dome lighting as a primary power source so always on with dome, and an override to turn on by themselves with power source just before door switching device and diode inline.

Wiring the DLRs this way would be good for those times you don't want to draw attention to your car at night to say "pull me over - here I am!"

I'll post when I get this far, but car is currently away and lots to do when it returns.

I agree. But, I have have installed the white LEDs to replace the OEM DRL bulbs and they look great. They match the halo/headlights very well. So, I'd like to be able to have the DRLs on with the halos.
