You sure you don't have a buddy that works at that dealership that is a prankster. Could be the dealer yuch yuchs are thinking wow I can't believe that guy hasn't noticed the tires yet....
"I am about to go back to get my oil changed again as well as tires rotated to the correct position. What is the next action I should take?" I'd burn those puppies up and then ask for new front tires- "physics made those puny little 245's turn into smoke." Funny story- on both parts. Shouldn't have hurt anything so all should be good when they put them back where they belong. Rick |

That dealer is a moron. Those tires are unidirectional and different size. You don't rotate them. You could swap them side to side but they would need to be dismounted and it really isn't worth it.

Start here->
Go to your dealer and ask them if they can tell what's wrong. If they can't, don't even let them touch your car again to fix it. Go elsewhere...

Thanks for the voice of reason Fbodfather. Guys, they just made a mistake. Not a big deal. Just go back and ask them to fix it and please be civil about it. When you ask them to correct it they will probably feel a bit sheepish about allowing it to happen in the first place. Gotta cut a guy a break every now and then...

If the tires and wheels fit and do not rub I think there are a lot of people that would not notice this either. So don't feel bad. Some car owners are running the same size wheels on all 4 corners which enables you to carry a real spare tire and also rotate the wheels from front to back. I would have no problem running 245 or 275 all the way around.

Maybe it was the first Camaro they were asked to rotate the tires on or at a minimum the first one this service tech did...................but it would have really been funny if they did it on a Corvette.
Did they re calibrate the TPM too? Honest mistake, should be easy to rectify.

Amen Scott. We need to learn a little about human nature, I think. People make mistakes. We don't need to get out the pitch forks and axes to fix every situation.
The OP should just go back to the dealer, be calm and even tempered and talk to the Service Manager. It will get corrected. Any dealer service department worth their salt will handle the situation properly. Let's face it maintaining and growing business though good customer servcie is a huge cornerstone in today's business world. Those dealers that don't get it will fall by the wayside.
