Good times. I gotta say...it was an honor to have our car in there with the 5th gen. We had fun times setting up, hanging out and especially breaking it down. Turtle and I ran into an old friend that just so happens to have the job of babysitting these fine automobiles and he let me ride in the ZR1 while taking it to the trailer!!!! Too bad the rev limiter on it was set to 3 grand. Boo.

Turtle, you were saying that you got to talk about cars for a while to a bunch of people....that's exactly what I got to do all darn day! Trixxter was right...someone would come up and ask a question...and another would overhear asking another. Very rarely was I stumped...I was surprised. But, I did have to make a phone call. So, a BIG thanks to Mindz for the help!...and to Dragoneye too...lol. You know, the GM product folks were very knowledgeable. I listened to them answer questions all day long to tons of people. Knowing a lot about a particular vehicle can be easy stuff. Knowing a lot about a LOT of vehicles can be tough! So...kudos to all the team members that were helping out my fellow San Antonians!...Brian, Christina, Victoria, Sean, ....(oh boy...I know I'm going to get yelled at later on! ....dangit!!! I'm drawing a blank!!!)......ugh...I see all your faces...can't remember names. I'm sorry. But, ya'll were a blast to hang out with. It would have been nice to have had a beer with ya'll too. Maybe next time? I'd like to! Also, I got to meet a bunch of Camaro5 members. Some didn't know I'd be there and I also got to turn a bunch of others towards this site. It was fun to hear how people got their information on the Camaro. Maybe we'll see a few new faces over here too! --------------------- Scott, thanks for trusting me w/ the vert. It was in good hands. That was by far the BEST off duty overtime I've EVER done! Ryan, if we see you here too, very nice meeting and working with you. I'll be looking forward to next year as well....WHEN I HAVE MY 5th GEN!!! |
