I know this has been used by Audi for the R8, during the Super Bowl, but think of it like this:

The Godfather music playing in the backround, the guy wakes up in his bed and there is car oil all over and seeping through his sheets, almost looking like blood. He pulls his hand out from underneath the sheets and it's burnt oil on his fingers. He pulls the sheets up and it's his Mustang in pieces with the grill being the only thing left, with the Mustang emblem shown very clear. He picks up a note that reads, "The Mustang Sleeps With The Fishes! Sincerely, Camaro" He screams, and you hear a V8 rumble outside. It cuts to outside, as a Camaro peels out of the driveway with a V8 roar. A voice says "The All New Camaro Is Back With A Vengeance!"

I think that would be an awesome commercial! Too bad Audi stole it!

Dude just go to a chevy dealer seriously i would love ....no better... i actually want that to be the camaro commercial.

GM needs to get some camaro commercials out there. Last night i walked downstairs and my parents were watching night rider for some reason and there was a commercial on there for the 2010 mustang. If they are advertising GM needs to also.

Its a commerical for all the ford cars really cause it can transform into any of the ford vehicals. But it was an actually commercial that said go to their website to learn more and stuff it was the site that had the countdown clock untill realesed.

Here is my idea...

2010 camaro goes across the screen, front facing the viewer, it's busted sideways, smoke coming off of the back tires but in slow motion....no sound, no music...just a booming voice (James Earl Jones) that simply states...."Saving the best for last...."

or

"Detroit saved the best for last..."

or

"Ain't no muscle like...Camaro Muscle"

I like that idea about "saving the best for last" or "good things come to those who wait" or somthing in those lines".

I think that because the press keeps saying things like "Camaro is behind the curve" as far as timeline goes or "late to the dance" etc. The marketing gurus at GM need to play that up as a good thing.....

They could even have something like: "Mustang and Challenger would like to take this time to thank Camaro for arriving so late...because that gave them a little time in the spotlight"...something like that....

I just hope they don't do something cheesy, it's gotta be like the Camaro, it's gotta have the "Rock from Detroit, with the Soul from Motown" in it!!!!

Exactly hopefully people from GM we see our ideas on here or Scott takes it to them haha. They need good advertisment.

Here is a idea for a commercial. Have different generations of the camaro coming from all parts of the U.S. California, New York, Florida, and Texas while the song COME TOGETHER BY AEROSMITH is playing in the back ground. They would show all of them driving to Detroit Michigan, then they all would be coming together at a street in front of a chevy dealership that has some what dim and poor lighting. And in the front window from the street there would be a 5th gen in black just sitting inside the window. then all of a sudden all the camaros that have taken the journy start reving there engines, and as there engines rev the lights in the dealership start to flicker in and out showing glimpses of the new 5th gen. and at the very end of the commercial the lights return to normal and at the same time the 5th gen starts up and then a close up on the headlights come on.

basic concept: all the different generations come together where the muscle car was born and welcome the new arrival of there new brother (5th gen). the engines revving are almost like bringing back there brother from the dead.

or instead of AEROSMITH playing in the background. have THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN by whoever sings that song.

i know u all love my idea i want to be cut a check when it appears during the SUPER BOWL thank you gm in advance lol
