Do you want the CAT Back,Axle Back or headers back. I went with the GMPP that is a Borla. You can get them cheaper here...

I also Liked the SLP here: I liked the Power-flow and the Loudmouth II. I was most likely going to buy the Power-flow before I decided to get the GMPP. SLP at the time did not have one for a C5 with the ground effects.

I think some of members here are running the SLPs....

Welcome to the family!

I'm sure we'll see you around town and at the Kmart cruise-in, if Spring ever comes around. Lots of good info to read on this thread, and endless info when you start exploring the forums.

So I bought a stock exhaust for $100 and built a muffler delete out of it for $15.

Total cost of exhaust... $115
Feeling of having a SWEET sounding exhaust and saving $1000... PRICELESS!

I have not driven it but it sounds really awesome at idle and when reving the engine. You can really hear to lop of the LS3 cam! It is worth it, plus I still have my factory exhaust, unmolested.

I hear you. I have breaks sitting in the office, Mats thrown in the trunk and a plethora of other items coming in on the 17th. I am out of town tomorrow to New Mexico and then I may be back Friday. If not I am heading straight to San Antonio.

I would love to take it out to take a cool picture to enter. We will see when I get back. I will save a couple back ups in case they need the pictures right away.

I can't wait to get everything back on and the CAI Induction in. I am curious what that will do to the sound of our exhaust. I bet yours sounds BAD!

It likely wont do anything to the sound of the exhaust. You will hear the intake when you really hop on the accelerator in the front of the car. You hear the sucking sound. Sounds cool!!

First off, thanks for the help. Secondly, I am not sure what I am looking for right now. I know I dont want to touch the headers right now. I certainly want something with a bit more meat to it than the stock but I am not looking to necessarily, but if it happen aw shucks, boost my HP a lot or anything. I am just trying to make it sound nice. This car stuff is pretty new to me as far as upgrades. I have done basic work on cars for years but never got into performance stuff so I am in the dark here. Motorcycles, I can talk performance with those but cars is different. Which do you guys prefer? Would you change what you have now if you could? I just want a nice meaty/throaty sound to my car. I like what it has I just want it deeper.

Thanks for the help and welcomes from everyone! I am sure I will see you guys around. Since we are under yet AN OTHER winter storm warning... You wont see me out again for a bit.
