Ok from what i read, the cloth in the 1SS doesn't get any SS stiching in it. Is that correct or did i miss something?

So what, no blue color options on the SS?!!!! I really hope that's not true! That sucks!! Fbodfather, please say it isn't so! I'm seriously thinking about waiting longer to get mine now. I want a blue Camaro SS!

And THIS is why GM doesn't want things leaked.

It's been said that this isn't the final version, is not for consumer viewing, and probably contains mistakes. I daresay GM knows better than to offer colors only on the cheaper model of any given car.

I mean come on...

Nobody should freak out. This is a preliminary document that fbodfather has said is incorrect in some aspects. Correct information becomes available on Friday. Fbodfather has no reason to respond to questions about this document until then.

I have a question that may just be an inaccuracy.

It says, "Camaro owners that have the factory Illumination Package...". And under packages, it doesn't have any package called Illumination Package and it doesnt talk about the ambient lighting anywhere in it.

So I'm wondering what models is this standard on and is it an option on models that its not on?

Actually, maybe you've already forgotten, but it HAS happened in the past. Remember the 4th gen SS? I don't recall all of the colors, but I know Mystic Teal metallic was one color only offered on base and Z28, but not on SS, and I remember that there was at least one other color, if not more, that had the same treatment. However, I see what you're saying, and I'm thinking the same way. Here's to counting on you being right on this one.

Ok. All further posts not discussing the actual contents of the material will be deleted. Some posts are starting to move into the territory of arguments between members and is pretty much off-topic.

Sorry to have removed some posts, but this thread needed to be cleaned up and kept on-topic.

the engine oil cooler is mounted on the oil pan from what i have seen on pictures

programable door locks just means they have a couple of different ways they can work like not locking as soon as you press the button or not locking if the key is in the ignition and the car is in park, (keeps you from locking your keys in the car, just little things

So that's why your car at Indy didn't have the DRL's running. I know in the 3rd gen, it was as simple as pulling the DRL fuse.

That was pretty cool, I find it funny though they only listed air intake, cat back exhaust, and shorty headers as performance options. That's kind of a joke, maybe more will come later?
