texas speed 231/236 111 lsa idle

Hi all USA folk,

Im a newbie from little old down under New Zealand and hope all is well in your country.
Anyway down to business I own a HSV GTS Commodore I had the LS1 Engine replaced with a LS3 Crate engine......has longtubes, twin 3'' exhaust 3:9 gears, 6 spd manual it goes alot better than the old LS1 but now im sussing a cam kit...which i have from Trev at Texas Speed.

Anyone out there running tsp 231/236 111 lsa and id keen to know what your opinions are on the idle does it sound mean??

Thanks
Rod

Should sound really good.

Are you on the North or South Island? My friends AJ and Rachel just moved to the North Island two months ago. Ive been following along their trips on your islands....BEAUTIFUL!!
I told them about Peter Knight, he races Hydroplanes, and how he use to buy parts from me before the internet. Seemed like a good guy.

Anyway, good luck with the cam.

Is there a website for this carnival? I would like to send them the info. They owned a couple Mustangs and a SC Cobra (replica) when they lived here in the States.

Thanks!

I drove my 231/236 camshaft today! Makes 500rwhp to the tire with PRC's $800 cnc porting of the stock LS3 heads.

im not over hooked on a massive dyno number like 500 rwhp yea be nice but honestly the standard cam in a LS3 is pretty good for a street car considering the speed limit is 100 kmph in NZ, And going of the video its not as lumpy as others around or am i hearing wrong?? so 80+ hp gains as on the tsp website is if u have the already good LS3 Heads ported?
