As many have said before, it wouldn't be in GM's best interest to remodel the entire front of a car in it's 1st year of production. That would probably piss quite a few people off.

Well, it most certainly couldn't be a photo from Oshawa. We have NO Snow !!

Doesnt mean they can't go out testing it with a new bumper cover.

I'm not putting your idea down or anything, I'm just trying to find the practicality in making a bumper cover. If it was a bumper cover shaped like that, it would be a complete redesign of the front end. It's too drastic of a change to the front end to just be a cover, if it is in fact a change at all and not a cold weather guard like someone stated earlier. And if it was a bumper cover and they were testing it for aerodynamics they wouldn't need to run it on a track anyways, they could put it through a wind tunnel for that.

If it was just a few facia upgrades they wouldn't need to test drive it. Wind tunnel gives you the aerodynamics, stress testing is done inside on machines. The only logical reason this particular test-mule would be test driven on the GM proving grounds is if there is a new engine or suspension that GM needs to fine tune, imho.

Yeah I said that they could use the wind tunnel... Probably didn't see it but oh well. I agree with you on the whole testing the new engine and suspension and things of that nature. If you really think about it, that's the only logical reason they would have a camoed car out on the track. There's really not justifiable reason. They wouldn't need to hide any new body modifications, that's not what everyone is looking to them for right now. They're looking for the Z28. And I doubt Chevy would come out with a nose mod for the Camaro anyways, I guarantee they ran over every nose option they could think of before so I doubt they've already got another idea...
