I don't race, I only raced that time and will not do it again unless it in a track. Why do everyone keep on saying "you know you want to" lol what is this like a negotiation

Underdrive pulleys, header back, bigger throttle body, tune/chip/programmer, wider rear tires, intake manifold, blah blah blah. That will get you started. Don't juice it sir.

yeah...get rid of the v6.....if not....definitely CAI other than that...mod you v6 like a ricer would. there's plenty of v6"s that'll outrun mostly stock v8s. i know.....sounds like a horrible thing to say to do to a CAMARO but thats gonna be your best bet.

buy a ram air or Ultra Z hood and a ram air intake for a firebird

but its not worth it. you wont see much of a gain if any over a CAI

pulleys... maybe, headers def, throttle body... not worth the money as sometimes they can be too big for the motor and you can lose power, intake manifold... they dont make much for the v-6, juice isnt a bad idea.... 75 shot would do it.

however.... being that he has a 99 v6, he's got the 3.8 which they do make a supercharger for.... just something to think about...

mod like you would any car.

intake, exhaust, power adder...

another thing to look at is suspension, all the power in the world isnt worth crap if you cant put it to the ground.

Too true. Although I don't see him going so far with this as to need to modify existing suspension.

any little bit to help get the power to the ground will help. plus most aftermarket suspension pieces are lighter than their stock counterparts.

you probably won without much trouble, but it will be close. put his stang to shame! show him that even though your cam is older, its got some balls to it, unlike his mustang. i recently beat my friends 2001 stang in my 85 camaro! and after you win, make sure to tell him that. and yes, do be careful.

Mustangs suck, my 01 v-6 camaro beat many v-6 mustangs on the street, (and some GTs) I've lost to more saturns than mustangs.
