I'm putting my hat in on the Borla S. Fairly inexpensive, very easy to slip on or off and has the best deep sound. It's not raspy or annoying like many of the aftermarket brands. Listen to the Borla over and over and you'll be sold...

SLP Loudmouth II
Hushpower by Flowmaster 3" 409 SS #819106

I really like the Magnaflo with the 5" tips though.

I am now leaning towards the Flowmaster Hushpower due to the facts that its 3", proven to add 8hp to the tires. I just WISH I could find more sound clips, as the only one on Youtube from Flowmaster didn't make it sound much louder then OEM LS3.

Here's a couple os pics of my SLP LMII... Looks in my book are second to noe. A lot of the other mufflers like this do not have a true polished finished and that was a must for me. Tips are also adjustable which I like, so you can set how far you want them to stick out.

If you want exhaust and don't want to saw your stock pipes, just buy a catback. The stock unit, all the way from directly behind the cats to the mufflers and tips fall out as one piece.. no sawing.

Thankyou for all the responces, I really love this Forum.

I am waiting for UPS any minute now, as I perchased the Hushpower Axel-back by Flowmaster. The muffler/pipes are 1 piece, 3" 409 SS in and out, 8HP on the Dyno, only 1 clamp required per side. I really like the SLP II, but really like the quality look of the Hushpower, and proven to add 8HP.

Thanks again guys/gals !!!

I just finished installing my Hushpower. It was very painless. It sounds good, I was hoping for a little more db's but it has a nice tone. Looking forward to hearing your feeedback.

OP..... just go to your local muffler shop and have them delete the mufflers, but clamp on the delete pipes rather than welding them in. This way, you can just have the stock mufflers easily added without having to do any more cutting. Cheap, and effective. Would cost maybe $80-150 depending on the muffler shop.
