Lol people dogged me for making my baby look chunky with the factory mud flaps but I hope it lessens the chips on the side. Clear bra goes on Thursday on the nose and after that big nasty chips get fixed by the local autobody shop. I guess if I pass all the people in front of me I should be in clean air free of flying debris

I don't get why people say the paint is coming off easily. If a rock hits any car with a decent amount of velocity it's going to do damage . Your tires are shooting back debris, what isn't hitting the fender well is going to hit something, and just so happens your gill area is in this path.

Go throw some rocks at any of your cars and see if the paint doesn't come off. If you're that bootyhurt over the paint then have it repainted and put however many coats on you want so you'll be happy with the paint whenever a rock takes 3 layers of paint there is still 5 left or whatever.

ZERO chips on the front of my car!!! I have 2800 miles on it.
Thank you 3-M clear bra!!! That is one thing that pisses me off with cars that I don't have it on is washing it and finding a new chip on the front bumper just about every time.

Go a little easier while cornering near shoulders. I got a good one on the left side.

The only way others will see it is if your parked and they get like face level with your cars paint and then know where to look to point them out. Overall, though we may have rock chips, this doesn't take away from the overall beauty and design of the car. I've learn to deal with it.
As true as that may be. At the rate I am getting them it will be glaringly visible in 6 months. When the car is waxed and standing next to it you can see them, but not if you were driving next to it of course. I may have a complete paint job in my near future, and then see if I can get the clear bra material in that area.

I thought about doing the flaps idea but I eventually plan to run some ground effects, so that won't work.

My comments with regards to the paint is that it is think period. When I look at the depth of the chips, it not deep at all, compared to chips on my FJ which are at least twice as deep.

Once I am back to work it ground effects touch up paint then clear bra. LOL

Thanks for the advice guys.
