camaro interior vs others

ok gotta give props to GM for making the camaro interior very modern but retro. It looks even better than the pics. I have always READ about how nice mustang interiors are and after looking at a 10 GT then to the camaro I have to say imo the mustang is boring and the camaro looks so much better and excites me. The quality may be better on mustang so they say... but sitting in the mustang the interior does not do it for me like the camaro. Test drive tomorrow wahooooooooo

I'm gonna have to brush up on my stickshift skills and test drive the IOM 2SS/RS M6 on the Chevy lot down the road from my apartment soon... The itch is getting worse!

I like both interiors as long as the mustang has the interior upgrade package. Most people don't realize that mustang has an option to upgrade the interior, and most dealers don't order them in with it. What did the shifter look like on the one you sat in?

Back in the 80's through 90's the Mustang had the more durable interior.

Don't know about now.

This is exactly what happened to me. I was just going to have a look and took one for a drive. Then a few weeks later I thought, I need to drive the manual and the automatic back to back. Guess what, I fell in love with the Camaro. I order mine on March 1st (FREAKING EXCITED).

I'll add to this list.. once I test drove it.. it was a matter of weeks before I had one in the driveway. Getting one, became the focus of my life. ..and I couldn't be any happier now. Good luck.. but if you don't want to buy one now.. PLEASE do not test drive one, or you will be screwed.

Hey SeaDog -
Did you have trouble sleeping last night. I can picture the little "angel" on your right shoulder whispering in your ear.....

Don't test drive the Camaro, you have responsibilities. The Prius is "green" and you can get one for a great deal right now. Don't worry about the sticking gas pedal, it doesn't use much gas or make the car go very fast.

And then the little devil on your left shoulder responds with...Come on, drive the darn Camaro. You know you want to. You deserve it. You have earned it. You know you always wanted a car like this, and here's your chance. Besides, its just a test drive. You don't have to buy it, just try it for few minutes. And in the Camaro you don't need help with the gas pedal, your foot will keep it down on the floor where it belongs.

Or something like that, right?

Go drive the Camaro...what the heck!

Had a 2004 Corvette Coupe, modded (ran 11.0 in the 1/4). Was my baby. "Was" because in Dec. car was flooded when during heavy rains, the drainage system in the garage for my apartment building failed and the Vette was in the lowest point of the garage. Water filled up to above the seats. Took my insurance company a month to decide they were gonna total it. When I hung up the phone with the adjuster, jumped in my rental and drove to the Chevy dealer to pick up an 09' Z06. Walked toward the front door of the dealership where a 2010 2SS/RS/A6, Black/Black w/GFX was parked. Grabbed a salesman and asked him for the keys to test drive it. 2 hrs later, left the dealership as the new owner of that car. Wasn't til I got home that I even remembered that I had originally gone to buy the Z06. Sure, the Z06 is in a different league, but after some mods, I'll have my SS performing even better, and have an extra $10K or so in my pocket. Yep, GONER

The only camaro they were letting people drive when I bought mine was the V6, all 3 dealers I talked to said they weren't letting anyone test drive the SS because of some reason
So test drive it if you can, just make sure you're close to a hospital when you're done in case your heart won't stop racing
