driver side door does not open from the outside

I got my Camaro Friday evening and by Sunday morning my driver side door will not open from the outside, even when i try to unlock the door, it will not always unlock, but once its unlocked it will not open from the outside.

Its pretty embarrassing when i want to get in to my car and have to go to the passenger side to open the driver's door.

I have an appointment today at the dealer so they can solve this issue.

It should be a simple fix, but you need to take back to dealer for Warranty.

Yea i read somewhere here that it might be a C-clip that came loose or something., But can you imagine showing the car off to friends and family and the door will not open , its funny and frustrating at the same time.

Open sunroof via the auto open key FOB

T-Tops would be handy too - if they were out

Yup, frustrating but an easy dealer trip - well, you know...

With those little side windows, you gotta be a pretty skinny Duke brother.

had this problem on a previous car (05 cayenne). Turned out to be a loose connection. As others have said, take it to the dealership and it should a quick and easy fix.

Maybe it's your Camaro's way of saying it wants a different driver....

I had that happen on my Ram srt10 when it was only a few months old. It was the actuator that was bad. And it was kind of embarrassing entering through the passenger side.

Have you tried to unlock it with the key? it may just be something to do with the electric door lock.
