If the 370Z is close in price to the SS equipped the way I want it, I'll go for that. The next gen Mazda RX-8 (or 9?) is possible if they get the powered pumped up enough. I'd be all over a Mazdaspeed MX-5. I'd obviously prefer RWD, but the WRX, Ralliart, and Mazdaspeed3 are all in the running too.
All good choices, but nothing checks off all my boxes like the Camaro. GM, stay with us!

Sorry out of luck. Despite being inferior to the MX-5, it is too expensive for GM to make (again, how did they manage that?) and will be discontinued soon.

It's either that or a C6 Z06 in LMB (LeMans Blue). Both are very close in color - but NOWHERE near close, in price.

True. Looks are important, but I sit in cars and drive them far more often than I look at them, and so for 90% of the time that I'm around the car the Mazda wins no problem. It also looks very nice too. Not as nice, but still nice, especially the new redesign.

I'd likely be lookin for the new 370Z, wondering if by some miracle Ford would do a real update on the Mustang and wondering if I could live with the tiny storage of a SkyRL. I'd look at the Charger now and again wondering where the gold plating is (something has to be driving that price up!), I'd look at the RX-8 and wonder why Mazda won't put a real engine in the darn thing. And no, the Miata wouldn't even make the long list, it's slow and while a slow roadster can be fun it's not so much on the roads around here, additionally it takes true talent to make a convertible roadster look so darned boring. I probably wouldn't get any of them though as I had been thinking about finding a nice used GTO(05-06) , great interior and 400HP with 29mpg's highway isn't to shabby even if the styling's a bit boring and Pontiac did unnatural things to the front grille.
