Finally got to test drive a 2010 Camaro SS

So last Saturday i got to test drive a 2010 camaro RS/SS. There was a few things i didn't like about it was a lot of blind spots and was cramped but which i didn't adjust the recline of the seat. Not much head room like in my camaro but i like the look of the chopped top.

I didn't like i was on a 6 lane road and the speed limit of 45 wish i could have got it on the interstate but other than that a great car

did the car have a sunroof? this could have been why it didnt have as much head room.

The drivers seat will adjust up & down, as well as many other ways! You really have to be particular in adjusting your mirrors & that should help the blind spots. Try putting the seat all the way down & see what you think

Tonight I finally got to drive a 2SS M6 ... All I have to say is "Holy Crap" ... That thing is a real torque monster, almost scary fast ... First time driving a standard trans in close to 30 years ... Kinda like learning to drive all over again, and trying to find that sweet spot for releasing the clutch ...

I rented a CGM 2SS A6 @ TPA a couple of weeks ago when I was in town for the Daytona 500. When I was coming back from my sister's place in Palm Harbor, I got on it on the Bayside Bridge and wow!

Can't wait until I buy one later this summer or next year with a M6. May have to wait for the Z though.

Why wouldn't you adjust the seat?

Any time I've test driven any car, the FIRST thing I do is adjust the seat, mirrors, steering wheel. Otherwise you'll never really know if you like it.

I'm 6'3" and when I first got in a Camaro, it felt strange, and I thought there were bad blind spots too. Not so at all. Adjust your seat, get it on the road and after you get used to the car, you'll know you can see all 360 degrees around you.

You don't buy a camaro for good visibility, you buy it for looks.. Wait till you pull up to a red light !! You can't see it unless you stay back.

As far as the room... Well I'm 6 feet tall and it's fine for me.... The power seat goes downward.. and it's much more comfortable than a vette..

You just have to get used to it..

Huh? The price is quite impressive from where I sit. Went to a Nissan dealership when the girlfriend was car shopping. He tried to talk me into a 370Z. He about fell over when I told him what I was getting my Camaro for and all the features it has.

No offense, but this is a very fairly priced car

The 370Z is an awesome car but in my opinion overpriced for what it is. I could justify one for $33,900 loaded, not $40,000.
