Ok we have given you some crap in jest me included. Now for my serious opinion. Having read your response, I see you are a young guy but I think i see where you are coming from.

You are looking for some guys to hang around with, to shoot the shit about camaros and do the guy thing. Well here is the deal, you have five girls that provide a common interest. They may act all giggly and not have a clue. Why should they, at your age do guys really care about a chick who knows cars? Nope you wanna dumb and hot. As you get older and more refined you realize this is not the case, ya need to be able to have a conversation with the ladies or you get bored. Use this as an opportunity to educate them. You may just be surprised at how much they know or how much they are willing to learn. Conversly they may educate you in other matters. Women are a finicky breed the more insight you can get into them the wiser you can be.

Also you mention you have a girlfriend. Great, but no matter what you say things change.

Jump in there, share the bond of a very cool car make some new friends and dont sweat it. Have fun, cars and friends are cool no matter what sex is involved.

Here's the problem, you own one of the hottest cars on the market today...

It's exactly like what happened to the 2005 Mustang, girls turned 16, and got one for their birthday...girls turn 16 in 2009/2010, what will they get? 2010 Camaro. It isn't because these girls don't know what they are actually driving, it's because it's like, the hawttest car on the market...

So think about it, lets say the Challenger was the hottest car on the market, they'd be getting those basically..

So what are you claiming is BS then? I never said don't bash him for ignorance. I mean I can go back and read what I typed but I'm pretty sure I didn't say that I'll have to check my notes. And last I checked OP wasn't throwing around blanket statements about those of the female persuasion not knowing anything about cars.

edit: my reply was towards skyblu's post. OP hasn't given details as to how he knows these girls that have a camaro know nothing about their car. Until he does, he shouldn't be criticized for that... unless you're going to criticize his lack of details, which would be ok.
