I bought a preferred package through tirerack.com for the winter. In my 51 years of hanging around this Great White Country of ours, I've driven a lot of RWD vehicles in winter.
I can honestly say the Camaro is the best handling in these conditions than any other RWD vehicle I've had. And I agree with Coldpants...4WD and winter, tends to make stupid people dumber! LOL |

I was busy today, I had places to go and I went in my Camaro. It live in Montreal and there was a snow storm today. I had to cross icy bridges, go through areas that had not been plowed yet and the 2010 Camaro handled it all perfectly. I used my BT phone all day to keep in touch and do business from the car, the car didnt' let me down in any way. BTW, I had perma grin most of the time and loved the way that my "comerade" my Camaro was there for me. Dragon22, I am all of 42 and also have had many RWD and 4WD cars and have thankfully never had any dumb accidents because of the way I overestimated my rides of the moment. It all comes down to common sense and good tires, RWD OR any drive!
This Camaro is very easy to live with, I love it more every day! eB

It's not the Snow that turns it black, It's all the crap they spread on the snow that makes the snow dirty and that turns your car black..(or a black car Gray) I have a white Sunfire, and only a couple miles of drivign in the snow will make it look terrible... BUT it goes AnYWHERE in the snow that I have driven on regular all season tires... so the Camaro and HHR stay home and I drive the Convertible in the snow...I even felt like putting the top down and taking some pictures of it in the snow this morning...LOL

My wife has had to take the SS out twice in the snow to drop off the kids at daycare 2 block's away. Let's just say she made it there and back!

I live in the Sierra mountain foothills where we get snow occasionally but I'm only 30 min from real snow. So don't think none of CA gets snow.

NO PROBLEM & FUN !!!
![]() Last night here by the lake in Northern IL we got one of the fastest snowfalls I have ever seen here, lake-front effect put down 3" per hour for 2 hours, I went out not knowing it started as it started FAST. I didn't have my usual 150# of sand in the trunk, and my tank was just about empty. Anyway I got around great, cars were going in ditches all over, But 225/60/18" Blizzak LM-25 snow tires ROCK. SWEET !!! People look at me around here and laugh, until I beat them in their 4x4 trucks to 50mph. I start in 2nd gear and GOOD-BYE. ![]() ![]()

this video fails at showing us how it handles in the snow. going in a striaght line doesnt prove anything.
visual scenery is good but the video doesnt show braking, power slides, winter drifting...
