Backup Warning Lights?

The owners manual (pg 8-41) says there should be a display with three lights behind the rear seats. The lights displayed should show you how close you are to the object behind when backing, i.e. one amber = 8 ft, two amber = 40", amber/amber/red flashing = 1 ft.

When backing I hear the beeping, but I don't see any lights. Do any of you see the lights?

They ended up not using the lighted system on the Camaros. The only alerts you get in the camaro is the beeping sounds.

I believe the lights were NOT added....just the BEEPING

There aren't any lights. Not sure why exactly, but GM decided the beeping should be enough (probably some design issues in putting the lights in as well)

Nope, none have the lights - only the beeping. I asked the same thing last week.

OK, thanks - that would explain why I can't see them. I guess they need to update the owners manual.
