I know that for drag racing today's autos seem to work better, but I like the fact that the Shelby is only available with a stick. I think it keeps the car out of the hands of those that shouldnt be driving a 550hp car anyway. To me a sports car or muscle car should have a stick, just way more fun to drive.

and 50% 6 bangers.

So 4400 Mustang gts.

Yeah they are flocking for those 5.0's.

Im happy with the camaro being rare, that's why i don't like the Mustang so much, cause its everywhere, so if the mustang sells more than the camaro, Better for me!!

Mustang has pretty much always outsold the camaro. Chicks love mustangs and gobble up the 6 bangers to look hip. Its kind of like a VW Bug.

Hate to burst your bubble, but the Camaro won't be "rare" for too much longer. They made what, 100,000 for the '09 MY? and its just gonna keep rising up from there.

Still living in fantasy land I see. You were one of those guys I posted this for. The engine change was across the board. Who cares if it's V6, GT, or GT500? The new engines are bringing orders in.

Keep in mind that since the Camaro is a first year car a lot of the performance guys had been waiting years for the SS. Hence the numbers being higher for the V8.

How many of those orders are dealer stock? I don't see anything about those being pre-orders from customers.

Yes the mustang guys sure are stroking themselves again.

I'm actually surprised that V8 sales are below V6 sales. It's the opposite with the Camaro. I think 2011 will go to the mustang because the vert will be a 2012. That being said, 2012 will be won by the Camaro. Especially if the Z28 makes it to the show rooms as well.
