looking to see if we can get a camaro train down to ga. i make a trip that way every year to go to daytona for the race in july. i will be leaving on thursday afternoon sometime, when my wingman gets off work. so let me know brokinarrow and rbj!!!

What are your plans, who were you going to meet up with and when? I have a tentative schedule set up but can always afford to improve on it. When I get home on Sunday 2-21 I can send you a copy of it.
I haven’t heard from BROKINARROW in a while. I thought he had sold his car? He may be one of the many that will be getting a rental car once they get to GA. Keep me informed and I will do the same for you… Roy…

no real plans. i would bet that we will be on the road by 1ish p.m. planning on driving all night. not meeting with anyone as of yet. we go down through stl on 61 to 64 than south through il on 57, than grab 24 just n of paducah ke, than run 24 down to 75. it takes us 18 hrs to get to daytona when we go. so i think we can make this in 14 hrs or so. let me know your plans, mine are not set in stone and can change very easily.

Ok, I found my plans again…

Thursday April 14; Leave home at 5am. We are going to meet up with the MI and OH caravan and others in Cincinnati. Drive to Knoxville for the night. We got a room at the Best Western Cedar Bluff, 865-539-0058.

Friday April 15; Leave Knoxville at 6:30am. Make a couple of stops in TN and arrive at Atlanta GA around 10:30am. From here we have 230 miles to the C5 Fest. We are staying at the Overflow Hotel, Wingate by Wyndham, 229-242-1225.

Trip Home: We plan on heading for home around 12pm. We may drive straight through or we may stop for the night.

On the way down we will have a expanding caravan. At Cincinnati we will have around 40 cars, at Knoxville we will have around 70 cars and by the time we hit Atlanta we should have many more… The drive down will be half the fun…

yeah that would be cool but not going to work out for me. maybe be able to swing the meet in atl. wont know till closer to the time. i am staying at the super 8 just down the road, half the cost for something i wont be in much. buying a new house so i have to pinch somewhere. from reading your other posts i am guessing that you are a firefighter in cr?? i was a volunteer for my hills for 11 years.

You got it, LOVE my job... I also voulinteer for Newhall and Norway EMS and Fire. I never thought I could enjoy going to work so much. I get to work 24 on and 48 off, this lets me spend alot of time doing other things... The volinteer departments are vary rewarding. Almost every call I go on I know the person or people that called us to assist them.
