Arrow Need HElp (new member)

Ok so this is the deal I'm new here and i have been reading this forum for about 3 months. But i am going to be purchasing a Camaro in the near future. I am 17 and my parents agreed that if i stayed home and went to college(happened to be the best college too) i would be able to get a new car. But i would like to know if it would benefit me to order a 2010 1lt / rs or just look for it on the lot i would put the 500$ down to order Camaro and get exactly what i want. I have also heard that most lt's on lots are auto but i want a manual.

Also im leaning toward black but what color should i get

IOM
CGM
BLACK

Black is the fastest. Check the lots, if you see what you want, get it, if you don't see if they can get it. If they can't, then place your order.

Go to a dealer and see whats on the lot, test drive one and keep an open mind... If they don't have what your looking for they can sometimes get a car from another dealer.. or just place an order, sometimes a deposit is required...

As for black, you'll spend a lot of time and money at the car wash keeping it looking good..
IOM is a hot color if you don't mind all the attention you'll get!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If they'd had the car I wanted on the lot, I'd have bought it. They didn't, so I ordered.

I got my car for less than invoice price (which is well below MSRP).

Cam5- I understand what you are saying but i have thought about this long and hard and i have decided to stay home for my education i got into schools as well known as penn state but i decided to stay home because i got into ny's Number 1 science school (intended major) and im not going to lie and say the car didnt have a role in my decision but it was mostly a school based decision. Also am not afraid of my parents riding me at home they are very relaxed (cool enough to let me get a camaro) but i appreciate your response and thank you

MRF1950- That is a good point i can look at lots and even get my dealer to search other dealerships i would put down the 500 dollar deposit.

Order, that way you get what you want and don't pay for what you don't want.

Are you really going to be happy staying home for college? This is the most important question. If you're okay with that, get the Camaro.
