FBI Raids 3 Toyota Suppliers

You read it right. The company involved in what some have called America's worst case of consumer fraud apparently does business with companies involved in FBI investigations. These suppliers produce pedals and electronic components, the very products under current recalls. Article is by Inside Line. The comments under the article demonstrate how hard to accept the idea that Toyota and its suppliers failed truly is for some buyers.

Discuss.

Do you guys even read the article? The companies are under investigation for collusion. The raids don't have to do with the ongoing investigation regarding Toyota.

Also, these companies also provide products to American car companies. In 2008, Denso received the Supplier of the Year award from GM, and last year Ford named Denso as a preferred supplier in its Aligned Business Framework.

This is all true. We also don't know the full extent of the investigation. Regardless, this gets tied into Toyota's controversy, especially since at least one of them is directly involved in the brake recall issue.
