does anyone know if it is possible to get the rally stripes to go across the roof of the car also?

can someone please tell me what stripe style the factory is putting on the SS in the white or cyber grey stripe package? I am assuming that they will be the dual rally type with the pin stripe (nose/hood & rear deck lid/spoiler) identical to the rally stripes available in the LPO. But since these two colors are already listed in the LPO I am suspicious as to what the factory stripes will look like and where they will be located.
I placed my deposit today with the dealer who will order next Thursday. I would like to order with the factory stripe option (as long as they are rally style) but will go with the LPO option if I have too. Just not sure what the factory is offering. Thx.

The factory will be putting the white or cyber grey hockey stick and solid hood stripe on the car only, not the rally stripes. Also, stripes are not SS specific and any car can have any stripe package. All stripe packages are optional so if you do not specifically order them, your car will not come with them.

Actually, they are only putting on white and gray RALLY stripes, not the hood and hockeys.

RPO B7W and B7X are rally
LPO VYP and VYR are hood and hockey

This is JohnnyCamaro AKA John Cox from GM Accessories and GM Performance Parts and I want to clear this situation up as this is not correct.
The factory will have the rally stripes as an option in white and cyber gray on top level vehicles. The same colors and stripes are available as an LPO for the lower trimmed vehicles. In addition, we have LPO's of the rally stripe in other colors. The hood and hockey stripe package is only available as an LPO through GM Accessories.

Hi, John! Thanks for the info!!

I'm curious... Has it been determined whether or not the rally stripes will extend beyond the hood over the "mail slot", as on the convertible, or whether they'll stop at the edge of the hood?

Planning on ordering tomorrow, and I'd really like to go with the factory RPO (rather than painting them), but I'd really like them to cover the mail slot on the nose, too.

If you want to wait about 6 months there is a company that I bought the stripes for my HHR that I am sure will be making a set for the Camaro, For the whole set for my HHR they were $139 made with 3M 7 year vinyl.
easy to install yourself.

This is "Bumblebee" yellow.
