i could be way off but this is my thinking.
Based on the released approx option prices from GM, an LT2 will cost a min 4k more then an LT1 and the RS package for the LT between $1,500 and $2k. I expect an LT2/RS to be close to $29k depending on the starting price and how close they stay to those option prices.

Chevy has historically always been a couple grand higher than Ford within the same class of vehicles (trucks are a great example)

You get what you pay for.

You can't go off raw numbers for those though. Bundling it all together brings the price down significantly.

i can see 1500 or 2k for rs but... four grand for LT2... i don't think so, that would be GM shooting themselves in the foot and losing a lot of potential buyers cause many people want the luxury but don't want it to cost the price of basically a base SS. a fully loaded v6 should not cost the same as a base v8 IMO.

Exclamation OFFICIAL CAMARO PRICING: LS = $22,995 (base) / SS = $30,995 (base)

The base LS will start at $22,995
The base SS will start at $30,995

These are the official base prices and you will have confirmation tomorrow that these are true pricing #'s. I'm not going to divulge my source but it's official. It's ok if you doubt it now, it will be confirmed tomorrow.

Enjoy your ordering!
