I think the wink at the end of his post was referring to the extreme abuse the German Autobahn affords? Just guessing...

This is very good pricing, especially when you consider the $750 destination charge is already added in. So really if you compare apples to apples with Ford, you get a 300HP (27mpg) Camaro starting at $22,995 compared to a 300HP (23mpg) Mustang starting at $27,570 ($26,775+$795 dest. charge)

It's also like getting the SS for $30,245 w/o the destination charge which is what most all companies show on the main page for MSRP before you build the car anyway. So getting the car for a window sticker of 30,995 for a 1SS is right in line with what should have been expected by most. I'm sure many hoped it would be closer to $28-29K since that's what they used to be, but honestly look how much more you get...Independent Rear Suspension, 100 more HP than before and a much improved interior to name a few.

This car is a STEAL and will sell like hotcakes!!!!!

p.s. my guess for a 2SS/RS is $33,795

This place has the best prices I've found anywhere and the starter and ballast is one unit not like the others where it has the starter and blast separate. It’s a pain mounting those with limited space.

These are the official base prices and you will have confirmation tomorrow that these are true pricing #'s. I'm not going to divulge my source but it's official. It's ok if you doubt it now, it will be confirmed tomorrow.

Enjoy your ordering!
For the doubters, ChevyMR will be serving "I told ya so Crow" in the Montego lounge from now till...

It was on MotorWeek last night.

They had it in a beautiful metallic BLUE. Nice wheels, looks great. Runs like an overweight, underpowered econo box. SOHC, 250hp, lame V6.
