Why do magazines insist on top gear acceleration, particularly with GM's ultra tall 6th gear? Anyone who wants to accelerate from 50 mph is going to drop it down a gear or two. It might have made sense in the days of 3 and 4 speed transmissions, but not with a double overdrive 6 speed.

I agree - shifting into 6th does nothing when you can hit the speed limiter in 4th right now.

Say, If I read it correctly, the magazine put the Brembo brakes at almost 8000. Doesn't the SS have them in the original cost??? So isn't that adding the cost twice?? Makes the Camaro cost almost even now doesn't it?? Or did the LPE upgrade them???

Seing the two together IMHO I still am partial to the look of the Camaro, It just looks better in my eyes. The curves, the stance, the overall look, Oh Yea Baby, the Camaro rules, and stangs drool.......

All that it says on the LPE website is upgraded rotors and callipers. Probably not worth it

You probably go up to a six piston or something and drilled rotors. Definately not worth the 8k to me.
