That's sweet. I thought I was the luckiest kid in the world when I got a 2LT for my 18th/getting accepted by GWU. I cried when my dad told me.

Last time I asked my dad for a vehicle he told me to get a job. Although one time he did buy me a hotwheel.

I was on call one weekend about 2 yrs. ago for a car vs pole accident.I arrived on scene and saw a 40ft. pole snapped about 20ft off the ground and noticed a new mustang GT that was trashed. After clearing the hot wires on the ground I found out that this kid had just received the car for his 18TH birthday.Long story short, the kid was killed after the car had gone air born due to excess speed. His friend was severely injured but survived, why would someone give a kid that much horse power and think he will not use it.

It looks like the parents can afford it but I can't imagine what the insurance for a 15-yr old with a brand new Camaro is.

Very cool how they did it.

Not sure I would give my kid a new car on their birthday let alone a new camaro. But hey it is obvious money is not an issue, and if the kid can be responsible...why not. I have no idea who these people are, who's to say the kid really appreciates it and works hard for his dad, and is responsible. Cool video nonetheless.

It's kind of like giving a loaded gun to a 6 year old.
Or a multi-billion dollar company to a 12 year old
or a patient requiring bypass surgery to a 14 year old
or control of a country's nuclear weapons to a 16 year old.

See where I'm going with this? Just because you can "drive" doesn't mean you have the experience to know how to use it properly.

All true. But there are exceptions for exceptional (head screwed on straight) kids. Hopefully he is.
