I'd definitely think if not, it will be mentioned.

Good info and great replies so far. The knowledge shared in these forums really do help.

Now I just hope to hear the good news that GM will keep the military discount for the Camaro, because that'll hopefully save a couple thousand.

Camaro5 Rocks! I've seen a lot of other sites go ""

Yes, but you have to remember the weight difference. Although the HP is the same, the V6 will not be able to keep up with the GT...it's just not going to happen.

So no, the average car buyer will not view the V6 Camaro as an equal to the V8 Mustang...all they will have to do is test drive them to see, feel, and hear the difference.

The thing that is awesome is that a base SS in 2002 was..........

29k!!!

Now its 2008 and 6 years later and the car only goes up in price 3k for SOOOOO much more? Does nobody really see the bargain in that?? I mean lets face it the 4th gen was pretty lean in the tooth compared to the new car yet it was still pretty high price. A fully loaded SS Vert was around 42k and one with TTops was like 38k!

Gah Im sooooo happy right now. Hello used 2010 1LT in 2012 with 25k miles for 14-16k!

I thought the base SS was around $27k, and the base Z28 started at around $24k...? I used to know all that info by heart, but it's been so long.
