One word of caution though, beware of the female financial officer. She's nice but she is firm and likely will not get you the best interest rate. Consult "Chase" and apply for a loan through them if you can. MUCH better than what Hawthorne can offer.

Mention "Carl Rizzo" and my car and Stan will definitely take care of you. I promise. Let me know how it goes. I can call him to meet you if you want. However I can help, I certainly will! If you plan on stripes or painted stripes, Garden State Autobody in Bergenfield will take care of you. I built all of their computers and camera systems for them. You are in great hands regardless. I'm sure you'll see me driving around Westwood/Hillsdale.
Sure! If you want to call him tell him Ill be in tomorrow at 1130, name is Todd.
Probably wont be doing stripes but thanks anyway!

No problem at all. They had 5 on their way, were happy to order another.

It's guaranteed money for them...a good dealer won't bat an eyelash.

I'll try to give them notice. Please remember. MSRP or less!

Todd, I called Andrew. I got his voicemail, but I did remind him of who I was, and that you were coming in tomorrow. Told him we were both members of Camaro5.com and that taking care of you could be a brilliant opportunity to positively give that dealership some exposure. They shouldn't treat you any less than spectacularly. I'm about to leave an email for Stan Katz as well. Please let me know how your experience goes! Good luck and don't forget to grab a free hot chocolate or 3 from their customer waiting room.

I ordered mine because I couldn't find one with my options ANYWHERE in the state. Getting it for under MSRP, same deal as if I would have bought right off the same lot. Get what you want bro.

You should be able to buy one of a dealer lot for under MSRP, if you order you will pay MSRP minus any incentives you qualify for at time of delivery...

1-2k under MSRP is the norm now for lot purchases.

One advantage to ordering one is that you have control of how it is broke in. If you would like to do something like the Darrin Morgan break in, The lower the miles the better.

Dealers don't like to order when they have product on the lot. The salespeople are scared that you'll back out and they won't get paid. Despite this, it is almost always better to order what you want rather than picking from what is available.

Mine had 186, and I bought it for the same reasons. Besides it was the show car at the 2009 San Francisco Auto Show.

Yes , read my post about the dealer who ordered my car and had no allocations cause he had too many on the lot. Finally had to cancel the order and went with another dealer who found one elsewhere and had it freighted in.

Anyone know the approximate wait time for a 2SS model order?

Thanks.
