And yes the chally should feel about as heavy as a 300 since it is on the same platform such as the camaro feels about as heavy as a g8. ive driven both cars and the challenger and camaro are very similar in the heavy feel department, but the camaro feels a bit better in turns.

and i dunno about stew but I am unbias as can be, I just like the look of the challenger more than the other 2.
Power to weight ratio is better, and lighter cars with similar gearing ratios will have the advantage. Thats where the SS is overall better. Also what brakes do the Chally run on them I'm not familiar with that aspect? But the camaro has a better suspension setup also. And this is factory specs not mags specs I'm going by. Thats why overall in every aspect the Camaro is favored.

they come with brembos, and yes you are right it should be favored, the only thing that i debate is the lack of even mentioning the challenger in the debates. it's like saying now that the mustang is favored (2011 power to weight etc) the camaro can no longer be compared to it. it's just dumb. But we agree on something at least.

That was a Katzkin interior, it doesnt come from the factory like that. You CAN get it installed at a dealer as an aftermarket addon.

True dat, back on topic. Agreed 100%. I think the white interior, for now, consists of katskin seat covers? I really love that color and am so glad they came out with it, looks amazing, probably my favorite color on the CHallenger.

This has the black leather with the plum crazy accents. White is Katzkin I do believe...dealer installed. Also believe it's for the RT only and not the SRT8.

It's all good guys...she didn't buy the car for racing or anything like that. She likes the Challenger's retro styling and add in there she could buy it in Plum Crazy...well, it was bought! I made sure it was the SRT8...but other than that, she just likes the looks!

It is a very nice modern muscle car! Very nice! More than happy to drive it or park it in the driveway!

Well what about a tan/beige color. I saw this exact seem car at the Detroit auto show and it had a peanut butter inside color with the CP color with chrome wheels and boy oh boy was it sexy. Is that color an option? It was a classic R/T though.

Beautiful! That Camaro gleaming next to it looks hot too.

How does the interior materials/fit & finish/comfort, etc. compare between the two to you? I've thought about getting one of the V6 variants of either of the two cars as my DD, but the Camaro's interior is way below par for my liking, and the Challengers seems downright somber. Challengers V6 is also WAY underpowered.

Also, would you say the Challenger has a comfier ride and more soundproofing? These unconventional questions are mostly due to all the long work trips and high mileage I'd be putting on the DD.

Of course the V6 and V8 versions of these cars will differ greatly, so some of your findings probably won't apply to what I'm looking for fully.
