I completely agree. That's why I started this thread. I wasn't hearing raves from the people who actually own the system. But it does sound great. And it has the great online video. I'm pretty sure I'm going with this Flowmaster kit, too.

The stock V6 mufflers with tips are 24lbs. ea........ 48lbs. total for the two.

I don't know what the Flowmasters with tips weigh, I would guess app. 17 to 20 lbs. ea.

Well, I bit the bullet and just ordered this!

Should have ordered it last night as I would have saved an additional 5%...today's sale is 10% which is still nice.

Once I have it installed, I'll post some clips and a review. Looking forward to getting this set up!

I've got this kit on my 2LT and they sound great . I plan on doing a full cat back on my SS with FlowMaster as well. I think they make a great product for the money. And the weight is about half the OEM cans ...

Well, I tried to make a video but the wind was blowing and the video just doesn't do justice to the actual sound. It's much deeper than any of the videos I've seen (including the Flowmaster vid). I'll try again when the conditions are better.

Cheers!

I'm happy i found this website!! I'm planning on purchasing a flowmaster exhaust system sometime soon. Whats the best advice that you all can give me regarding the sound? I want something that's not extremely loud, just a low aggressive rumble. i would listen to the sound bites that have been put up but my internet is too slow to play them what is yalls best advice for me? Am i making the right choice?
