I ended up going with the 555s since I couldn't get the NT05R after we were told we could. When I drove mine the other day it seems like I was running about 65 just under 2000 rpms. The weather is getting much better here all the snow has melted and it got up to 50 today. I must warn everyone who has not driven an LPE supercharged camaro yet you must be very carefull when you floor it as your head will snap back into the headrest very quick and hard. My neck is still sore today because I wasn't really thinking when I got on it I will know to be more carefull when I get my car tomorrow!
Yes, he did drive my car, but it was only a short drive around the neighborhood after he changed my bushings to test it out, he really only noticed minimal difference at that time. We need to take a drive together on a nice day, then switch cars, so we can really compare. He's pretty much added all the same suspension I have on mine, so now the only differences are the gear, my brakes, and his tires. His tires are definitely more sticky than mine, especially on the warmer days like we recently had. Kevin, I need my wheels... Our track opens March 25th, and they have open Grudge races, but I know I will be toast with my stock tires. Sounds like you also had a blast driving. BIG THUMPS UP on getting your car back tomorrow. Its gonna be awesome, and have fun with it!

You guys are keeping me alive and killing me at the same time. Can't wait to get mine back, but then having it in the paint shop will be awsome and a killer all over again - just not as long and I can visit.

BTW, that Haggarty application is quite involved - didn't help that the site went down last night for maintenance, so I had to start over since it wasn't saved (sorta like starting your taxes for a couple of hours sorting through the reciepts). Also have to send pictures of whats not done yet? Guess they'll have to wait on that part.

Paul, sounds like LPE should supply us with a free neck brace when we sign the "we're not responsible for how you use our power" release forms.

My take on it is, that 1st thru 4th definitely have more pep. I got up to 95 in third at about 5000to 5500 rpm (On a closed road used only for testing fast cars that is), 5th and 6th are close to the same as stock was. You're still at 80-85mph in 6th at just over 2000 rpm. The suspension definitely helps with the handling, but really doesn't affect the comfort at all. I'm still on stock tires/wheels, so traction is definitely an issue, but I've just adjusted by doing rolling launches and it's not too bad. Can't do too many black snakes yet anyway, as the salt/dirt would just ding up my paint.
For those of you who have already felt this incredible power, Now I can officially relate, and those of you still waiting, It is sooooo totally worth the wait.
Wow!!!! For some reason I dont think northern NM will ever be the same.
Welcome to the perma grin club!
These cars are amazing, once you get about used to all the power it becomes a game of throttle restraint. Try a fast downshift into third doing 70 and punch it, man it is like a rocket taking off. Great thing to do on the freeway with a pesky import, you will leave them like they slammed on their brakes.
So its the end of March for the first meeting of the loacl super Camaros......I cant wait.

FYI: Anyone checking on fixed value insurance. Grundy collector car insurance requires your daily driver car to be newer than your Camaro (2011).

Hey Blue, can you have your son photoshop me a black neckbrace with Lingenfelter embroidered on it in IOM? Then maybe I can get Kevin to order these.

Several weeks ago I checked with Grundy on my LPE 650 package and told them at the time my daily is a 2001 Camry. I received a quote but no mention of my daily not being qualified. I'll have to check into that once I get my car back (should be another 3-4 weeks since I changed things up a bit on Kevin which delayed it a bit). When I told my current insurance company how many HP's it was coming back with, all I heard on the other end of the phone was "Oh my God. It's probably best if you find a new insurance company". That was all I needed to hear. I'm waiting for my car's return to send photo docs and receipts to start the new insurance. Needless to say, I can't wait. I've been reading this thread for months! I can't say enough about LPE's customer service.

Welcome to the Brotherhood Black Friday. It's nice to have another LPE car coming to the great southwest. LPE's customer service is one of the things that makes them such a great company. That, and their experience, great reputation, and great tuners like Graham and Brent. You're gonna love that 650 package, but you better order the neckbrace! Good luck on the insurance. What company are you with now?

Thanks guys! Glad to be here. It's funny, all along (for years actually) I've been saving for a Super Snake since I had a Mustang in High School, but last summer I was able to rent a Camaro for a couple of days and fell in love. The rest is history. Not that the Super Snake isn't a great car, I just wanted something different that I could add my own touches to. Please don't hold the Mustang thing against me

Paul-My delay is partially your fault! When I saw photos of the chrome Maggie I called Kevin I had to change it from my black one, even if it took several weeks to do. Haha.

BADSS-I'm currently with Liberty Mutual but that will change soon enough.
