Does the Mustang come with Brembos, IRS, 422HP? Nope. If someone is silly enough to buy a "Me Too Mustang" because of a $3K price difference then let them.

However you do make a good point. GM Sales Associates will need to be trained on how to sell this car and point out the features you get for that extra $3K. It really is a good deal.

This is all coming from a very much NON FANBOY too. I was looking at a Challenger 2 weeks ago. Now that pricing has been released on the Camaro my Challenger pamplet went in the garbage.

No they didn't. Period. Please if you feel that way, I'm sure there is a Ford dealer near you.

I do say...that car guys are the most misguided, ungrateful lot I've ever seen. Give you a car that you want, and you want it for free. Were are all those guys on here that screamed that putting the LS3 and all those goodies was going to make the car 40K at least? You guys would complain if it were free.

The base camaro is 300hp folks. Think about that and get back to me.

nobody knows yet... and probably wont for a while... and even if they did know, most probably wont tell you because they're really not supposed to talk about that.

I don't know for sure but it's most likely comparable to the G8. Around 1600 off MSRP. My guess.

I Think Invoice Price Is Usually on Average About 4-6k Below MSRP.. If I Remember correctly.. Could be wrong.

oh, and something for EVERYONE to keep in mind is that the Camaro is not only meant to compete with the mustang, but also with the challenger and the 350z

the base model peg-legged v-6 350z msrp is......... wait for it......

28.5k

their top end model is over 38k msrp

oh, and there is no v-8.... 350z

but.... their base v-8 challenger does happen to start at nearly the exact same price as the base SS

I don't know... I was just looking at Edmunds.com, and most Chevy cars' invoice prices are approx $1,200 to $2,000 under MSRP, except for the Corvette, which is about $4k to $6k under MSRP.
