Anybody know anything about the sct flash tuner?

I know what it is. My car came with it. I just want to learn a little incase I need to make any adjustments.

What would you like to know, we are an SCT Dealer and will be able to answer all your questions, as well as provide Support for the product and custom tune files if needed.

I am confused. I want to change the rev limiter and get rid of the speed limiter. When I plug the device into my computer it tells me it is not married. To me this means it is not even loaded in my car. Is that correct? The car is supercharged so I know it has to have a tune. I tried to plug into car got to install tune and it does not even have a back to stock tune in it,which I would not do. It does list a custom tune. I got there and stopped because I did not want to lose my tune.

What Supercharger is on your Car?

2 possibilities, someone returned it to stock in error, or, someone returned it to stock and tuned it using another method like HPtuners or EFIlive.

I Hope it is the Latter.

You really need to research the history and find out for sure what Really transpired.

Ted, as I understood it, they used SCT to tune these cars at SLP, and they are ideally shipped with the Xcal that is married to the car...

I do have a brand new zl550 w/eaton tvs 2300.

That is the Catch, the unit says it is UNMARRIED, That tells me 2 possibilities above.

I just emailed slp. Hopefully they will let me know what they used to tune it.

SLP got back to me earlier this week. They do use the SCT flash to tune car. They also find it odd that the tuner reads unmarried. They want me to send my ECM and tuner to them so they can reload the tune. Does this sound normal to everybody?

Yes, it sounds like SLP is taking care of you. I'm not surprised at all though.
They have always given good service. Let them do what they need to do and
you should be in good shape.

Got my ECM and tuner back downloaded tune. Car seems to run a little better definately better shifts. Hopefully I will be able to get to the track Thursday and find out how it runs.
