It's way better than the Parchment PD, MI prius... Making a prius a police car is just wrong. The camaro looks awsome, good to see someone got it right.

I passed that SS in McKinney yesterday on my way home. He was heading east on 380.

Im still waiting on that new caprice or the new 5.0 interceptors. I can't imagine the camaro being any fun to get in and out of with all my equiptment on.

I was a LEO for several years.....getting in and out of a Camaro wouldn't really be any harder than a Vic or Caprice IMO,at least not so much harder as to not make me want to use it.
Now you would obviously have to call a transport unit for any "passengers" ...but in my expericence that is another PLUS...lol
Oh how the boys would fight over who got the Camaro at the Dept I worked for lol....

having camaro police cars lower the appeal of the car to a lot of people. ie charger, impala. The same way having a fleet of the previous gen malibus at every airport rental car company lowered its already low appeal

I disagree..it isn't nearly the same thing...I doubt there will be a fleet of everyday Camaro Police cars...
If they are brought into fleet it will likely be limited to Highway Patrol/State Troopers looked at as "chase vehicles" just like the Mustang's in the late 80s early 90s...that endevor did not hurt those cars at all,matter of fact it likely helped them...I know as a teenager I feared the FHP Mustang...it was a BAD mofo....I rode in one when I was 16..and that likely sealed my fate as a Mustang enthusiast..
As well I doubt the Police use has hurt the Charger at all...matter of fact I bet it has helped it's sales...as for the Impala...have you driven one? Sorry...but the car itself has hurt it's appeal more than anything...JMO
